Prerequisite: Introduction to Windows 7 or equivalent knowledge
Platform: Windows
Material: Students must bring a 2GB or higher Flash Drive/USB key to every class.

Basic word processing skills will be taught in this class. Students will learn how to create, save, retrieve, modify and print documents. They will also learn to format with font and apply background and text colors, apply paragraph formatting, page layout, and numbered and bulleted lists, among other operations.

Understanding data storage (files, folders and drives) will be reinforced.

The hands-on, in-class method allows the student to develop proficiency and confidence working in Word.
