If your results indicate that you have received a passing grade of 60% for both sections, complete registration for this course. Your level will be verified again by the teacher on the first day of class.

Course Description : This course helps learners effectively prepare for the TEF exam (and all its variants). Learners prepare for the four tests: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Dawson website. Prerequisite or Prerequisite Knowledge : Level 7 (B2 equivalent): The learner understands most everyday conversations in standard French without assistance, at a normal speed. They can distinguish the main points of familiar, predictable or partially predictable texts on topics, with or without visual aids, if the language is clearly articulated (TV programs, radio, lectures). They can also understand factual information and opinions.
The learner communicates autonomously in conversations or informal presentations on concrete topics related to everyday needs (family, work, leisure). They are able to explain the advantages and disadvantages of two situations in order to make or explain a decision. They can also lead conversations to solve everyday problems, or report the essential elements of what someone says.
Teaching and learning activities: Through this course, the learner will become familiar with the various exam activities, acquire strategies for analyzing audio messages and answering questions more effectively, learn to structure and develop their ideas orally, and organize their time around what really counts. In particular, learners will increase their self-confidence: the key to effective argumentation.
Learning objectives: With the help of a teacher, learners gain the skills necessary to pass the TEF exam (and its variants).
Activities include:
- Practice activities for listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Exam simulation
Methodology: Three-hour course, once a week for 10 weeks.
