This course is designed for intermediate-level learners to help them understand the significance of strengthening and expanding their knowledge of the Chinese language for future learning.
Prerequisites or prior knowledge- Chinese character Level 1B
Teaching & Learning ActivitiesStudents will participate in reading out words and texts and take part in comprehensive oral and written activities, including role-play to simulate dialogues and acquire grammatical notions and vocabulary.
Learning Objectives By the end of the course, students will:
- Character Recognition & Comprehension – Recognize 34 radicals, 150 characters, and 431 common words while understanding their meaning and contextual usage in 75 sentences.
- Writing & Stroke Mastery – Master how to count writing strokes and accurately demonstrate character writing.
- Character Formation & Development – Learn the methods of Chinese character formation and track character development over time.
