Course description:

The goal of this course is to prepare students to respond to new responsibilities, which are the result of changes in the Code des professions du Quebec. Biomedical laboratory technologists are now able to administer medications and other substances in the context of performing certain types of laboratory analyses.

Requirements to obtain a passing grade in the course:
  • A minimum overall grade of 60% is required for all graded activities
  • Students must obtain a passing grade (60%) in 80% of the assignment and exams
  • Students must participate in 80% of the course activities
  • Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in a fail.
