Prerequisite: Introduction to HTML on Macintosh or Windows

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to JavaScript, the front-end programming language used to manipulate elements on web pages. Students will be introduced to HTML element manipulations, form management and other elements that result in successful sites. By the end of the course, students will have learned the essentials of JavaScript development and will have built a set of dynamic and interactive web pages with form validation, conditional statements and interactive elements.

This course elaborates the effective use of many programming techniques such as the use of variables, conditional statements, data type, loops, debugging and much more. By the end of the course, students will have learned to develop focused, effective sites.

You are eligible to take these courses if you are:
  • a seasonal worker who is not currently working, but retains ties with his/her employer;
