Prerequisite : Japanese Conversation—Level 4 or equivalent Overall Goals: - Help students to get by in Japanese in familiar daily situations by immersing them in interesting aspects of the cultural and social life of the Japanese-speaking world that can be contrasted with the students’ own culture.
- Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through various communicative activities focusing on travel, culture, customs, and socializing.
Intended Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, students will be able to: - Use the vocabulary, grammatical structures and linguistic functions necessary to communicate accurately and fluently in a variety of contexts.
