Prerequisite: Camera Basics, Digital Photography or equivalent knowledge

Food is one of the most photographed subjects on social media. Everyone has shared food-related pictures, from amateurs to bloggers and foodies. With its many facets and ways to approach it with the camera, it’s a fascinating yet challenging topic.
This workshop is designed to give an intro to the complex and diverse world of food photography. The course will explore lighting, composition, styling, props, lens and camera choices, food photography trends and useful tips to make your own home studio set-up.
The course will be a mix of theory and practical exercise as well as demos.
Knowledge of manual exposure preferred. An understanding of food trends in the commercial photography field will help students to direct their own photography.
