Prerequisite : English as a Second Language—Level 5 or equivalent Overall Goals: - Provide students who already have a degree of fluency with communicative strategies for expressing themselves more precisely via more complex structures in oral and written English.

Intended Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, students will be able to: - Explain changes in intentions or plans and express regrets about past actions.
- Discuss skills, abilities, and qualifications.
- Write a few paragraphs about life plans and life changes.
- Discuss the impact of inventions/discoveries.
- Debate the pros and cons of issues.
- Discuss solutions to global warming.
