Prerequisite: completion of Français Échelle Québécoise (FEQ) level 4 or equivalent. This 100-hour course, designed for adults, corresponds to level 5 of the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français. This level represents the beginning of the intermediate stage. Learning is increasingly oriented towards a detailed understanding of the mechanisms of oral and written language. The learner continues to develop language skills in the context of everyday life and in familiar contexts. Topics covered in this course include: - Consumption and the environment, enabling adults to better understand banking documents and public services.
- Personal life and citizenship, enabling adults to exchange news with friends and family on everyday topics, organize events and express appreciation.
- Culture and the media will be covered, with particular emphasis on radio and TV news.
- Health and well-being will enable adults to communicate relevant information at the clinic or hospital.
