Prerequisite: completion of Français Échelle Québécoise level 5 or equivalent. This 100-hour course for adults corresponds to level 6 of the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français. Students learn to participate in increasingly complex oral and written exchanges. Adults continue to develop their language skills in communicative situations related to the needs of everyday life and in concrete contexts. Topics covered in this course include: - Quebec and its regions, to give learners a better understanding of Quebec and its various realities.
- Personal life and citizenship, to enable learners to exchange news and information orally and in writing.
- Travel in Quebec and elsewhere, to explore the province's tourist routes and converse on this popular theme.
- Culture and the media, with the aim of discussing current events, understanding and commenting on opinion columns, summarizing films and TV series, and giving personal opinions.
- Education and the world of work to understand curriculum information, find out about detailed job offers and fill in application forms.
