Overall Goals:1. Help students to get by in Japanese in familiar daily situations by immersing them in interesting aspects of the
cultural and social life of the Japanese speaking world that can be contrasted with the students’ own culture.
2. Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through various communicative activities
focusing on travel, culture, customs and socializing.
