Prerequisite: Studied the textbook Great Wall Chinese vol.2 (150 hours of previous instruction or equivalent)
Methodolgy:1. Review first 5 units of the textbook
2. Continue the studies of basic grammar
• Past action or event
• Prepositions
• Adverbial phrases
3. Learn characters as indicated in the workbook
4. Vocabulary applied to the following:
• Currency and exchange; banking
• Shopping
• Seeing a doctor and describing illness
• Past events
• Asking about one’s experience
Required Material: • Headphones and an external microphone
• High speed stable internet connection
• Access to a computer with a minimum of Windows 7 or Mac G5
