Course description:


This course is designed for professionals and office workers who already communicate in French at an intermediate level, both orally and in writing, but who wish to perfect their communicative skills to succeed in French in the office. A certificate of participation will be awarded to any participant who attends at least 80% of the course.


Course objectives:

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Write professional e-mails related to their field of activity.
  • Present themselves orally in a professional context.
  • Give a short presentation in a professional context.
  • Leave a complete telephone message.
  • Report on tasks carried out at work.
  • Develop self-correction strategies.
  • Use vocabulary adapted to the professional context.
  • Use an appropriate level of language.
  • Create and disseminate their professional profile online.
  • Prepare for the job search.

Course format:
  • 12 hours of live online training with an instructor.
  • 12 hours of personalized support (as needed) during the instructor’s scheduled office hours.
  • Online self-study without instructor (optional): 21 hours of complementary activities including videos and self-corrected exercises.


Equipment required :

  • Device: PC (Windows 11) or Mac OS 13 (Ventura or newer).
    Laptops or desktops are recommended for full functionality.

    Students may be able to participate using Chromebooks or tablets, but features may be limited.
  • Internet Connection: Minimum - 10 Mbps download / 2 Mbps upload.
    Recommended - 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.

    Wired internet connection is preferred for stability.
  • Audio & Video: Headphones or earbuds with a microphone.
    Webcam (built-in or external) is recommended.
  • Web Browser: The latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Safari.
