The Game Design Boot Camp gives students the skills and knowledge to explore the exciting world of gaming and learn to produce their own works. It is our mission to bring together adolescents to challenge, encourage and motivate them, stimulate their imagination and creativity while maintaining a total commitment to their artistic growth.

The presence of well-known industry giants such as Ubisoft, EA, and Warner Brothers as well as a thriving indie community makes Montreal a key city in the gaming world. This camp is for anyone between the ages of 15-17 who loves games, is bursting with ideas, is interested in interactive digital media or wants to learn about the game design process.

Over the course of the two weeks, campers will learn how to design a game, create a prototype, use player feedback, and make their own game using the Construct 2 Game Engine. Because Construct 2 is a visual editor, there is no need to know how to program- we will teach the software from scratch. All campers need is to be familiar with computers and have the drive to create their own game.
